Description Michael Farnbach 2003-11-29 03:53:56 UTC
According to this thread, the kpasswd configuration item is changing (going
away). Many of us have used it to keep passwords syncronized between Kerberos
and non-kerberized (but ldapized) clients.

To use it with 2.1.23 I'm not sure how to add such an option to an ebuild...

Reproducible: Always

this needs to be resolved upstream.

I agree it needs to be resolved upstream, however reading the thread one finds that there is still a way to turn it on in 2.1.23 which I submit could and should be in the ebuild.

2.1.27 news update. The compile option and the temporary work around for kpasswd seems to be completely gone. They are pointing people to use spasswd now.

Thanks for your time though. I hope this helps out.
