When I installed ibam and tried to launch it, it said:
No apm data available.
Strace shown that ibam tries to read /etc/acpi/info, but I haven't this file, and according to [URL] it is deprecated.
So i made a patch for ibam to use /sys/module/acpi/parameters/acpica_version instead of /etc/acpi/info, and it works (although I sure it is ugly).

$ uname -a
Linux nee 2.6.36-gentoo #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Nov 6 17:24:46 MSK 2010 i686 Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N270 @ 1.60GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

I have tested the patch with kernel 2.6.37-r2. It's OK.

Fixed with 0.5.2-r2. Thank you for the report and the patch!
