When emerging postfix on selinux x86 server profile there is an error regarding sec policy for it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.emerge postfix Actual Results: Calculating dependencies... done! !!! All ebuilds that could satisfy "sec-policy/selinux-postfix" have been masked. !!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request: - sec-policy/selinux-postfix-20080525 (masked by: package.mask) /usr/portage/profiles/selinux/v2refpolicy/package.mask: # force version 2.YYYYMMDD policy over version YYYYMMDD policy - sec-policy/selinux-postfix-2.20091215 (masked by: ~x86 keyword) - sec-policy/selinux-postfix-2.20090730 (masked by: ~x86 keyword) (dependency required by "mail-mta/postfix-2.7.1" [ebuild]) Does it have anything to do with bug http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=287486 ?
V2ref profiles are where upstream development is focused now (2.2xxxxxxx policy). Unfortunately, these profiles are currently unstable on Gentoo. I am working on stabilizing as fast as I can.
Thanks for reply. I am always a little bit suspicious about ~x86. Thank you for your efforts, much appreciated.
