Ok, seems a fix from 4.5.8 got lost in 4.5.9. I reapplied it. Should be fixed now (takes about an hour to propagate to rsync slaves)

bitmail, can you verify you have an up-to-date tree?

"emerge -sync" I guess? I did issue that command before I started the "emerge -e system" command, couple of hours ago. Will try again.

BTW, sorry for the DUPE, but this bug didn't show up when I searched the db before submitting mine :/

Yeah, that's because it was already closed. Don't bother too much about it, it's just for us to clean up. But can you confirm the fix works for you?

Next time I'll make sure to look for closed bugs as well. The fix seems to work for me too, as emerge is currently installing the last package (105 out of 105, gcc). So I guess findutils has been installed successfully, otherwise the process wouldn't have proceeded overnight.

I can confirm that the fix worked for me. Thanks again!
