Listed by the Tor Project's Wiki: https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/wiki/TheOnionRouter/TSocksPatches Would be quite useful in the context of Tor usage. Thanks. :)
Thanks for your work. Those patches are partly not available from their given locations, while some (parts of the BSD patchset and the tordns patch via USE=tordns) are already available in the ebuild. The maintainer of torsocks has to decide whether to apply all fixes. In the meantime I will update the tor dependencies to request the tordns USE flag.
What's the situation... will there be a torsocks ebuild? Or is tsocks good enough? With torify, I keep getting: WARNING: tsocks is known to leak DNS and UDP data. If you had torsocks we would use that.

If you had torsocks we > would use that. Tor 0.2.2.x will be going stable soon. I'm mostly waiting for that before I clean up issues like this. Can you try torify with the current tor-0.2.2.31_rc and see if you're getting the same warnings? If you're not, then give me the torify command that you are using, and I'll try to run torify in my test environtment where I ahve sniffers to see if anything really is being leaked.
Please see my comments in bug #381181.
