I have problem when compiling pdftk-1.41-r1. It uses the magic of gcj to compile java code into stand-alone binaries. The link above tells me that this is not a pdftk problem, but a gcj problem, which may be fixed by this little patch http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=15812&action=edit and want to ask you to include it into the glibc ebuild. we had the patch, but it has been punted. 4 years is long enough. upgrade your gcc to the stable version and rebuild.
