Description Väinö Järvelä 2002-06-06 17:08:35 UTC
People sometimes has problems after updating a package and backtracking can be
difficult, especially if it is some building related package that is breaking.
But if emerge would build binary package by default(as with --buildpkg option)
of every package emerged you could fast and easily backtrack to previous
version. Of course this should be optional and that is why we need AUTOPACKAGE
option.

add EMERGE_OPTS="--buildpkg" to make.conf :)
