Description Voltron Rex 2003-11-28 05:40:20 UTC
Mozilla breaks when I load the url http://www.moderncppdesign.com . I know 'breaks' is not detailed enough for a bug report. However, there's not a lot I can say. Here's what happens:

1. type in the url, press enter
2. watch the right frame load
3. watch the left frame begin to load
4. note that the mozilla icon has stopped updating
5. wait...

I waited 10 minutes. My CPU monitor says 100% and top tells me mozilla is responsible.

Placing windows in front of the mozilla window then moving them away results in a partially-drawn mozilla window.

In other words, mozilla breaks. The version is mozilla-1.5-r1

Here's emerge info:

Yep, you're right. Happens on mozilla-firefox-0.8 too.

Please take this bug upstream to http://bugzilla.mozilla.org. It's nothing we're going to be able to fix at the distribution level, unfortunately. :-(

Hi

I thought gentoo developers handled moving bugs upstream, not me? I'm really not interested in building a < 2 week old version of Mozilla, which is what the mozilla-bugzilla apparantly requires.
