Jiri, any chance you can try compliation with the latest Gentoo-stable version of GCC, i.e. sys-devel/gcc-4.4.4-r2 ?
Comment 5 Gregor Uhlenheuer 2010-11-19 13:14:38 UTC
I get the same error on emerging imagemagick-6.6.5.6

After switching to gcc-4.4.4-r2, the package has compiled just fine.
I do not know if we can close this issue. Is gcc-4.3.4 still officially supported?

I had the same problem and can confirm that this works for me.

sys-devel/gcc-4.3.4 is still in the tree and marked stable. I suppose it's supported.

It's not. Use stable gcc, that's 4.4
