Comment 1 Ryan Hill (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-11-18 01:31:55 UTC
Doesn't work with cloog-ppl/gcc-4.5.

Comment 3 Ryan Hill (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-12-11 01:24:59 UTC
Well, it works now with cloog-ppl-0.15.10, but there's still issues that need to be worked out. I'll leave this open since i'm working on it now.
Comment 4 Chen Chen 2010-12-18 06:02:20 UTC
It actually CAN work with cloog-ppl because the version number of ppl backend version is foolishly hardcoded into the ./configure script...
Only a sed script should fix this.
Comment 5 Ryan Hill (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-12-18 07:22:07 UTC
Not sure which configure you mean. cloog-ppl-0.15.10 accepts ppl-0.11 and we can turn off gcc's check with --disable-ppl-version-check. The problems here mostly have to do with the SONAME change, the compatibility of ppl-0.11 with GCC 4.4, and if ppl needs to be slotted to meet the requirements of multiple installed GCC versions.
Comment 6 Ryan Hill (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-01-07 23:33:46 UTC
Okay, it's in the tree. You'll need to rebuild cloog-ppl and any out-of-tree gcc versions you might have installed.
