Stabilize net-news/rawdog-2.13.
rawdog bneeds a config file AFTER you create the .rawdog dir in your home directory. (should do it for you) and was unable to find the config file it supposedly creates for you amd64 fail
(In reply to comment #1) Does net-news/rawdog-2.12 behave differently?
rawdog .12 is the same. i installed both. i DID find a sample config file online and was able to get it to run with that and it DOES perform as stated, but shouldn't have to go looking for a config file via Google
problem reported upstream
qlist net-news/rawdog | grep config /usr/share/doc/rawdog-2.12/config.bz2 From the README: rawdog needs a config file to function. Make the directory ".rawdog" in your $HOME directory, copy the provided file "config" into that directory, and edit it to suit your preferences. (Comments in that file describe what each of the options does.) You should copy the provided file "style.css" into the same directory that you've told rawdog to write its HTML output to. (rawdog should be usable from a browser that doesn't support CSS, but it won't be very pretty.)
read the read-me, no rawdog directory or config.bz2. it appeared to emerge correctly. will triple check again
nope, did not create the directory or was i able to find rawdog other than the one i created manually via google. still fail
/usr/share/doc/rawdog-2.13/config.bz2 found it after 4th install and why would i have to go hunting for a config.bz2 to uncrunch and then cp it to the .rawdog directory i have to create also. fail amd64
Stable for HPPA.
Hi, I think these configuration issues are minor. Users interested in this package should find out where the default config is and be able to bunzip it. x86 stable.
