change 'powerfull' to 'powerful'
change 'tar xvjf ...' to 'tar -xvjf ...' (the manual says so)

Portage Snapshot(s) on LiveCD:
"Now extract the snapshot of your choice using the following construct."

Is there really more than one? (What is the advantage?)

There currently is no LiveCD with multiple snapshots. I'll update the handbook to 
reflect this further (in the beginning we already mentioned that there was only 
one snapshot).

The typo's have been corrected. The "xvjpf"/"-xvjpf" is no error (both will give 
the same result) but it is better to use a consistent option-handling, i.e. with 
dashes.
