Hi, please find attached ebuild file for silc-toolkit 0.9.11 SILC Toolkit is a software development toolkit which provides full SILC protocol implementation for application developers. This package provides all SILC libraries and, optionally, both SILC server daemon and basic SILC client. I plan to writing an ebuilds for these, as they are published as separate packages too. You can learn more about SILC on http://silcnet.org I suggest classification net-misc/silc-toolkit
Created attachment 21375 [details] An ebuild for silc-toolkit-0.9.11 package
Created attachment 21389 [details] An updated ebuild script for silc-toolkit Due to SILC developers' non-standard approach to install paths, I was forced to modify the ebuild.
This is already in portage under net-im/silc-client.
silky depends on this
Created attachment 22882 [details, diff] Ebuild suggestions Hi, I had a look at the ebuild and cleaned it up a bit, the doc directories did not install where it should go as well, that has been set to work properly as well. If you submit your ebuild with the suggestions then I wouldnt have a problem adding it to cvs. Thanks chuck
Created attachment 23248 [details] Final version of this ebuild This is supposedly final version. I've managed to make "client" and "server" flags work. (I couldn't find any other suitable flags in list of global USE flags, so I used these arbitrary ones.) One more thing - net-im/silc-client (already in portage) should be masked by this ebuild, but only if using "+client" flag. Is that possible? I'm planning to create silc-server ebuild too soon, which should be then masked by silc-toolkit, when using "+server" flag.
Created attachment 23251 [details] Fixed final version of ebuild (doh!) Two small fixes ("--with-docdir" and "mv" in src_install() )
I think this ebuild is ready for cvs inclusion now. If you include it, please take a look at silky ebuild (bug #34565), as Silky was the reason why I wrote ebuild for silc-toolkit. Thanks, Andrej
Added to cvs thanks for the ebuild
