Description stefan.ihringer 2003-11-27 03:08:15 UTC
By double clicking GnomeICU's notification area icon one can hide the
application's window. However, if I log out of Gnome, GnomeICU's window is reset
to its default size the next time I log in. This error doesn't occur when the
window is visile before logout. Also, it looks like the window's position on the
desktop is remembered properly whether GnomeICU is hidden or not.

Program versions:
gnomeicu-0.99-r1
metacity-2.6.2
gnome-session-2.4.0

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. start gnomeicu
2. resize window
3. double-click notification area icon to hide window
4. log out of Gnome

Actual Results:
GnomeICU hasn't remembered its window size.

Expected Results:
Window should have been placed and sized as set up by user before exiting Gnome.

Comment 1 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-11-27 05:36:14 UTC
i think this is more of an upstream problem with metacity.
Comment 2 Olivier Crete (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-04-18 08:52:15 UTC
actually its an upstream problem from gnomeicu.. Please file a bug on bugzilla.gnome.org against gnomeicu so I think to take care of it..
