Description Josef Leydold 2003-11-27 00:45:40 UTC
I have installed net-mail/qmail [1.03-r10].
I wanted to start the pop3d service but it fails due to an allocation error:

/usr/bin/tcpserver: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: failed to
map segment from shar
ed object: Cannot allocate memory

This could be fixed when the softlimit in the
/var/qmail/supervise/qmail-pop3d/run
script is increased.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.install basic gs-gentoo kernel
2.install system
3.install qmail
4.start pop3d service as descibed
Actual Results:
error message in -var/log/qmail/qmail-pop3d/current

Expected Results:
start daemon
