This ebuild depends on x11-libs/qt-x11
kdesupport is part of kde 2.1 only, it is not neded for kde 2.2. It's from the early rc5 era. I wanted to delete all kde 2.1 ebuilds a long time ago, but some people said they should be kept for backward compatibility reasons (that was about a month ago). So I've kept them, but I don't maintain them. They have wrong deps, objprelink support which no longer works, etc. etc. and I really dont know what would happen if you were to emerge one of them. They'd go into /opt/kde2.1, too. So I'm just waiting for a good opportunity to remove them. Meanwhile don't try to emerge kdesuport :-)
