Description sphakka 2010-11-10 20:55:47 UTC
In kde-misc/akonadi-googledata v9999 from the kde-overlay (as of 09/11), the following resource file:

  "contacts/googledataresource.desktop"

is broken by an errant double quote. This prevents the akonadi configurator from finding the corresponding resource for Google Contact.

Once correctly patched, the plugin works fine (testing on AMD64 with libgcal-0.9.6).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. launch Akonadi Configuration
2. click "add" in the Resources tab
3. the Google Contact Resource doesn't show up in the list

Actual Results:
The Google Contact Resource doesn't show up in the list of available akonadi resources.

Expected Results:
The Google Contact Resource should show up in the list of available akonadi resources.

AFAICT this has been fixed in the upstream repository in mean time. please reopen if this problem persists.
