Description Heiss 2010-11-10 20:50:37 UTC
In the guest, there is no mouse control at all.
Ubuntu 10.10 and OpenSUSE 11.3 have this issue, though the mouse did work in the initial OpenSUSE 11.3 installer. After booting into the installed OS though, mouse control was lost.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install qemu-kvm
2.Install Ubuntu 10.10 as the guest
3.Try to use the mouse in X

Actual Results:
Mouse pointer does not respond.

Expected Results:
Usable mouse.

There is a bug for this in Qemu's launchpad:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/qemu/+bug/663713

Which points to a patch:
http://git.qemu.org/qemu.git/patch/?id=cd496926155afcb3b6323e70dd720dc118b3a255

I'm attempting to see if the patch fixes the issue.

I've confirmed that the git patch linked above fixes the issue.

Unfortunately I miss bugs that are marked qemu{,-kvm}. But this has been fixed for a while.
