Hi, I'm one of the maintainers of a tcp performance evaluation tool called flowgrind ( https://www.umic-mesh.net/downloads/flowgrind.html ). It has some major advantages compared to other tools like iperf or netperf. Unfortunatly it is not widely known so far. With this new release we'd like to draw some attention to it by bringing it into the main distributions. i'd suggest net-analyzer/flowgrind as place. Attached you'll find a ebuild which already has been discussed in #sunrise. TIA, Christian
Created attachment 253891 [details] ebuild for flowgrind 0.5
flowgrind-0.5.8 added to CVS.
Thanks for adding Flowgrind! But could you please update the used URLs? Altough the URL in the ebuild is not wrong by any means, but it will get outdated by the time as we moved our collaboration and vcs over to launchpad / github. We'd like to have: HOMEPAGE="https://launchpad.net/flowgrind" SRC_URI="https://launchpad.net/${PN}/trunk/${P}/+download/${P}.tar.bz2"
