from valgrind site: "Valkyrie is a Qt4-based GUI for the Memcheck and Helgrind tools in the Valgrind 3.6.X line"

Valkyrie is available on http://www.valgrind.org/downloads/current.html (currently version 2.0)

The 1.2/1.3/1.4 ebuilds for dev-util/valkyrie were removed due to qt:3 and compile issues. See bug 279713.

Valkyrie 2.0.0 runs with Qt 4 but needs >=valgrind-3.6.0, let's give it a try.
