Our monitoring tool reported the following: "Distfiles at http://mirror.its.dal.ca/gentoo is lagging (delta is 00d 06h 08m 57s)" Please make sure you are syncing from ftp.ussg.iu.edu::gentoo-distfiles every 4 hours, according to the doc. Thanks
Hmm.. I'm confused. What documentation states that we should be syncing from Indiana? I didn't even see it on the mirror list. We are currently syncing from rsync://gentoo.mirrors.tds.net/gentoo every four hours. We are also syncing everything not just distfiles. What mirror should we be syncing from for a full set? With the understanding we are located in Canada.
This is mentioned in the doc I posted in comment 2. It is a mirror we use for candidate mirrors in order to ensure they are syncing from an up-to-date destination. By distfiles mirror I don't mean only the distfiles/ subdir, we use this term to separate it from rsync (gentoo-portage) mirrors. Anyway, your mirror seems to be fine today, I will continue to keep track on it and notify you if any other problem arises.
