Description David 2010-11-09 08:31:44 UTC
When booting, the line before "Press I for Interactive Mode" lists the copyright.

It shows 2009 instead of 2010.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot computer

Well, we need at least some information about the gentoo system you're trying to boot. Is it a real machine? is it a minimal/live cd? Please, paste your "emerge --info" output or the version of the minimal cd (if you boot a cd). I resolve this bug as needinfo. Reopen, only if/when you have submitted more information.

I apologize for not including "emerge --info" It is now attached.

The system is a real machine, installed a couple weeks ago using the Minimal CD available for download on the Gentoo website. (That is, the Minimal/Install CD is no longer being used, the system is running off a hard drive, and is fully updated with "emerge --sync" and "emerge -DavuNt world")

The "2009" copyright is also present on a virtualized Gentoo system I have running on a different computer, which was installed a year or two ago.

Probably this has to do with baselayout-1 as, you're running stable x86. I will assign this to @base-system but you'd better wait for an openrc stabilization to see it fixed.

@base-system: sorry for yet another bug in your queue.
