dev-ml/ocamlgsl-0.6.0 has QA issues:

 * QA Notice: Files built without respecting LDFLAGS have been detected
 * Please include the following list of files in your report:
 * /usr/lib/ocaml/site-packages/stublibs/dllmlgsl.so

Can we fix this first?
Comment 4 Thomas Kahle (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-11-12 19:18:30 UTC
And worse. orpie-1.5.1-r1 does not build either:

Funny, it should go to /usr/lib/ocaml/stublibs/dllmlgsl.so and doesn't rise that warning here... The failure with orpie is caused by files missing from ocamlgsl. Can you attach output of `equery f ocamlgsl` and emerge --info please?

Hi, just tested it here on stable amd64 chroot and x86 mostly stable system. The problem does only exist on x86.

It installs as expected under amd64 but installs into /usr/lib/ocaml/site-packages for x86 for the stublib and also the gsl subdir as well.

That look like an issue with dev-ml/findlib.
@ml could you help here, please?
Comment 8 Thomas Kahle (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-11-14 22:45:47 UTC
Seems all fixed with the new versions of ocaml packages in bug 343751. I believe this can be closed as soon as we have new stable ocaml packages.
Comment 9 Thomas Kahle (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-11-15 09:20:50 UTC
x86 done. Thanks everybody.

You probably forgot the "=" sign in the front of each list item

ok, after some work and testing
amd64 stable
took some work for me, not the package to figure it out and test

amd64 done. Thanks Blain
