please attach a zip file that shows the problem. that URL is broken.
Created attachment 367458 [details] test archive, describing issue (In reply to SpanKY from comment #1) > please attach a zip file that shows the problem. that URL is broken. Issue looks to be reproducable for any non-ansi symbols (not only old-cyrillic as in first example). I.e. you can easely reproduce it yourself: $ echo blah > тест.text $ zip test.zip тест.text adding: тест.text (stored 0%) $ rm *text rm: удалить обычный файл «тест.text»? y $ unzip test.zip Archive: test.zip extracting: ????????.text Expecting string: Archive: test.zip extracting: тест.text I've tried to attach this archive, but it is 181-byte size and bugzilla seems to ignore it. On UTF8 localized system you can easely create it yourself, copy-pasteing commangs below. So, skipping not to spam.
After reporting upstream confirmed this issue, promising fix in UnZip 6.1c.
I think this has been fixed via https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/commit/57d39d4794da75dd7469590e964f83336f64acd1#diff-2cdf9d7032f98a7656dce218dd0b516a
