Description Mark Loeser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-10-28 19:35:37 UTC
I was just trying to debug a problem with a user and it seems like some of the files on your mirror are not updating properly. For example:

virtual/perl-Test-Harness/Manifest - fb8c24680367168052b677099182d165

The current checksum is a5352f4067b340f2729bfd299638e6cb.

The changelog for that package also appears to be truncated at the top.

The timestamp for the mirror shows it is not lagging, but there appear to be problems elsewhere in the tree.

Also, I have removed this mirror from the NL rotation for the time being.

I have rsynced manually, which does not show any abnormal output or behaviour.
Maybe Albatross has some issues?
For the sake of thouroughness, I'm completely rsyncing the portage tree from scratch from albatross.
Comment 3 Roel Baardman 2010-10-29 09:17:47 UTC
roel@vlaai:/ftp/pub/linux/gentoo-portage$ md5sum virtual/perl-Test-Harness/Manifest
a5352f4067b340f2729bfd299638e6cb virtual/perl-Test-Harness/Manifest

Please check if everything is okay now. If not, then I'll dig a little bit deeper.

Atleast that package seems to be fixed, so whatever corruption occurred there is gone. Adding back to rotations, thanks for the quick response.
