during the command "emerge -u system" starting with 
**stage2-pentiume3-20030910.tar.bz2**, at the point the command try to 
execute the download file ,,,  **openafs-1.2.8** ,,, command has stopped 
and aborted the processe generating the errer message as followings,,,

Error net-fs/openafs-1.2.8 failed

Exitcode 0
Failed Patch;
openafs-pinstall-execve.patch

Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1. starting with **stage3-pentiume3-20030910-
2. USE= flag setting
3. command " emerge -u system "

Actual Results:  
The command has stoped the processe and aborted it... with the 
message that I've discrived above... : )

Expected Results:  
,,, I'm not a expert ; ) but I'd like to finish my installation,,, by the way,,, I've 
switched the stages 2 to 3,,, ; )

Live CD Gentoo
Pentiume 3, 1GHz with 512M SDram, Rateon9200SE
Gentoo Linux is the only OS on the *hda*
Network connection through firewall-gateway to Cable-modem

I've updated the package to 1.2.10, and the patch should work now.
