I'm been using dev-perl/RTF-Writer on my amd64 system for a few years now for processing my webcomic collections. It is stable -- see the URL for the results. (The reason I'm filing this bug is that I'm running perl-cleaner after an update now) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
What is the SPAM URL for? I don't see how that site supposedly proves that RTF-Writer works on amd64. CC'ing userrel@.
Kelly, I was very close to ban your account until you explained your actions to userrel. Checking your user history I see you've been around for a while and I didn't notice other abuses, so I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. Please explain the purpose and relevance of the link you added to URL.
Oh boy, let me explain. I use dev-perl/RTF-Writer to robo-layout my webcomic into printed collections. This is then loaded into OpenOffice, where I finish it off into a PDF and send it to Lulu for publication. The link is where others can buy the PDFs or get a printed version, proving that it does work on my AMD64 rig. The main thing is proof it does work. It may be a bit removed in the process of things, though; I apologize if having that amount of layering makes it look like I'm spamming Bugzilla. Not my intention at all - I don't want to walk the valley of Cyberpromo. Ether way, I doubt you want me uploading an 80 meg RTF into Bugzilla as proof. Code for my layout Perl script though I can provide.
I understand your goal now. In the future if you chose to add such a link, you may want to explain why you're doing it. I see nothing left for userrel here.
(In reply to comment #4) > I see nothing left for userrel here. > Same for bugzilla.
