Hi, here are some ebuilds necessariy to bump gnome to version 2.4.1. Most of the dependencies refer to ebuilds already in Portage, which was helpful ;) Haven't been running it long, but all seems well - I was particularly pleased that gtop now understands kernel 2.6 from the point of view of reporting memory usage. Any chance of getting this in soon (at least on ~x86)?

Most of 2.4.1 has been in the tree for some time, but we wont release the final gnome-2.4.1 meta ebuild until it is officially released (by gnome.org).
I want to test it for Kerin! Liviu
OK, foser has recently committed gdm-2.4.4.5 so the attached gdm ebuild here should be ignored.
Here's the ChangeLog for the 2.4.1 release: http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-announce-list/2003-November/msg00095.html Some nice bug fixes and additional translations, by the look of things.
Gnome 2.4.1 has been officially out for a few weeks now. Could you please bump it?
official for just over a week, unofficial for a bit longer. All essential ebuilds have been in portage for quite a time, we're working on the meta ebuild.
gnome-2.4.1 has been added to ~arch earlier today with a few improvements over older gnome meta ebuilds. gdm is still @ 2.4.1 , mainly because non gnome WMs still need to add session files for it.
