Description Francois Chenier 2010-10-16 11:23:07 UTC
My PS/2 touchpad (Sony Laptop) does not works well with =x11-drivers/xf86-input-evdev-2.5.0 The cursor returns to bottom-left corner every time I lift my finger up. The same driver world perfectly with a USB mouse.

Downgrading to =x11-drivers/xf86-input-evdev-2.4.0 (or lower) fix the issue.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge =x11-drivers/xf86-input-evdev-2.5.0
2.Restart X

Actual Results:
The cursor returns to bottom-left corner every time I lift my finger up. The same driver world perfectly with a USB mouse.

I don't any other xf86-input drivers installed.

Running =sys-fs/udev-163
Running x11-base/xorg-server-1.9.*
