adjust your keyword settings then.  not a bug if you try to use unstable packages on a stable system.

I finally had a moment to revisit this issue.  I already tried that but crossdev strips the exception I add to my keyword file and then complains about it.  This is happening again for the cross-x86_64-w64-mingw32/mingw64-runtime.

I have given up on this.  Neither i586-w64-mingw32 or x86_64-w64-mingw32 will build (stable or not).

use the crossdev options to specify versions.  dont attempt to touch the generated files yourself.
