Description tyctor 2010-10-11 14:12:01 UTC
After upgrade from TB 2.0.0.24, I found out, that I click on URL links in email body or subject, TB don't open this link in browser (simply nothing happens).
I tryied to run thunderbird from terminal, to see if some error occurs, but there are no messages in terminal.

Second thing that stoped work is fetching RSS feed. I had registered few RSS feeds, and new TB display it, but when i want to 'Get messages' nothing happens.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. upgrade from TB 2.0.0.24 to 3.x.x
2. run TB, open some email which contains URL link in mail body
3. click on that link

Actual Results:
link wont open in external browser

Expected Results:
link will be open in external browser

i have set TB setting which are described here http://en.kioskea.net/faq/1910-thunderbird-opening-http-links-in-firefox

What window manager / desktop environment. Is firefox set as your default browser?

If you have not tested with a clean profile please do so, there are known issues when upgrading from tb-2.x to 3.1.

it is Xfce and yes firefox is set as default browser, gconf tool returns
gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/url-handlers/http
 command = /usr/lib64/firefox/firefox "%s"
 needs_terminal = false
 enabled = true
