Description Josh Knowles 2003-11-21 11:30:09 UTC
After emerge'ing ANT I excepted the ANT_HOME variable to be present but it
wasn't. Now I am new to Gentoo so perhaps this is the norm but it would be
nice if this was set because I have some install scripts which depend on it.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge dev-java/ant
2. echo $ANT_HOME
3.

Actual Results:
variable not set

Expected Results:
variable should be set to installed location of ant.

I can confirm this problem. Ant_home should be added to the env.d files somewhere...

Moving this again to java@gentoo.org, so everyone out there can help.

ant-1.6.0-r2 ebuild should solve this problem.

For now 1.6.0-r2 its available on testing.
