This is an open source clone of Evernote designed to run on Linux. It is written in Java so it will also run on Windows & OS-X, but the primary focus has been to try and get a usable environment for Linux. While this is designed to work with Evernote, it is in no way connected with or supported by Evernote. this is GPL software
Reporter: Please consider attaching an ebuild when/if you have the time. This will help in getting this into portage. Adding java herd since they might be interested in picking this up.
Dear all, The attached is an ebuild for this package. I have only tested it on my x86 system. I hope it can help. Best, Zhang YANG

I get: "merge: system( wget -P /var/tmp/portage/ http://tinderbox.dev.gentoo.org/default-linux/x86/All/Packages) failed: No such file or directory" Checked the link/directory - there's no 'All' folder.
Works great here on amd64. Wouldn't it be apt to have the ebuild copy or symlink /usr/share/nevernote/nevernote.sh to /usr/bin/nevernote? So that nevernote would be able to be picked up from $PATH?
Created attachment 271865 [details] version bump 0.98
I'm interested in this package. But the ebuild seems to just install binary package... Anyone considering build from source version? This might be the 0.98 source tgz link. http://nevernote.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=nevernote/nevernote;a=snapshot;h=f2a90ba1c230f9be1e2f7107f892a89fc2f64b38;sf=tgz
Created attachment 301367 [details] ebuild for nixnote-1.2 (former nevernote) bumping for new version (and new name) nixnote-1.2. i guess the title of the bug should be changed to the new name as well.
FWIW there's a new 1.333 version. Bumping the nixnote ebuild to 1.333 seems to work fine.
Hi Is there someone still interested in adding this software to Portage? Please let us know. Thank.
(In reply to Patrice Clement from comment #11) > Hi > > Is there someone still interested in adding this software to Portage? Please > let us know. Thank. Yes. Though it seems to have changed name to "NixNote" (See http://sourceforge.net/projects/nevernote/ )
