Description Paul Slinski 2003-11-20 19:51:14 UTC
Running 'env-update' on my system return the following error:

>>> Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache...
 * Caching service dependencies...
        bash: line 1: 1#: command not found [ ok ]

Evidently, it's calling a bash script from somewhere who's starting line is 1#
instead of #!. Just a guess.

How can I track this problem down?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.

Did you edit any of your initscripts ? That message comes from depscan.sh (it's called by env-update).
Comment 2 Paul Slinski 2003-11-27 18:52:10 UTC
Evidently someone did on this system. Apologies for the false report, someone placed a 1 before a # in a comment within a config file. I grep'd for it in the begining but only now turned up the problem.

[false] Case closed.
