It doesn't look like anything in-tree uses app-text/gnome-spell anymore. So lets consider last riting and punting. One team double-check is enough for me to proceed. I believe it was primarily used by evolution-2.22 and older before, but now the functionality is in gtkhtml through enchant.

In debian there's only an obscure package that rdepends on it, and nothing shows up in rindex and dindex on tinderbox. I agree with removal.
