Description thodi 2003-11-20 09:56:02 UTC
I just upgraded to gaim 0.72-r1 (x86). I can log in alright, but it
freezes when sending or receiving messages (I only use an ICQ account,
don't know about other protocols). I saw some bugs related to the
encryption plug in, so I re-emerged with "USE='-ssl'" -- still the
same problem.

The other party I send the message to receives it, by the way.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Emerge gaim 0.72-r1
2. Log in (I only use ICQ, don't know about other protocols)
3. Send or receive a message

Actual Results:
Windows freeze, can't be closed by clicking the window manager's close button.

Expected Results:
Anything but freeze ...

Sorry, not a bug at all. It was only waiting for the sound device
to become available (locked by gmplayer).

Man, I feel stupid now :-/
