After I updated my ppc64 system today I found all sound/video players using gstreamer couldn't play mp3 files properly. I recompiled many related packages and finally came to libmad: everything worked again when I updated it to the version 0.15.1b-r6.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge libmad
2. totem mp3file.mp3
3.

Actual Results:  
totem launched up and the file played, but only produced noise.

Expected Results:  
sound/music

After the libmad-0.15.1b-r2 is updated to libmad-0.15.1b-r6 with ~ppc64 keyword, the players go working again.
