Description Nathan Shearer 2010-09-24 18:50:40 UTC
My computer has 16 real cores with the capacity to install 24 real cores right now. Soon AMD will release the bulldozer based chips which make it possible for me to have 32 real cores. An artificial limit of 8 clients is ridiculous.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

Expected Results:
I should be able to easily configure foldingathome to use 16 or more clients.

I had to modify /etc/conf.d/foldingathome and set the CPU variable to 16 because 0 did not automatically set the clients to 16. The initscript has 8 set as a hard arbitrary limit. I also had to modify the initscript and remove that limit.
