ohnopublishing ~ # qlist -e transfig | xargs grep csh /usr/bin/fig2ps2tex:#!/bin/csh -f /usr/bin/fig2ps2tex.sh:# version for systems without csh -- uses bc and awk ohnopublishing ~ # qdepends --rdepend transfig media-gfx/transfig-3.2.5-r2: x11-libs/libXpm >=media-libs/jpeg-6 media-libs/libpng x11-apps/rgb This lack of dependency also causes a problem on gentoo-prefix when tcsh isn't installed before installing transfig: `` * QA Notice: the following files use invalid (possible non-prefixed) shebangs: * home/binki/gentoo/usr/bin/fig2ps2tex:/bin/csh (in PATH but target not found) * ERROR: media-gfx/transfig-3.2.5c failed: * Aborting due to QA concerns: invalid shebangs found ''
Although I think Portage is wrong here (that could be considered an optional runtime dep), I think transfig should install the POSIX shell script as the default one.
Thank you for report. Fixed in transfig-3.2.5d.ebuild.
