Please do not add ebuilds that fetch from upstream SCM repositories; if upstream does not make release, create a tarball and push that to the mirrors or to dev.gentoo.org storage (until Infra comes up with something better).

It really should _not_ be done this way because it removes checksum verification as well as disobeying --fetch commands.

I have taken this upstream.  Let's see what we get...
