media-libs/glew-1.5.6 is now available from http://glew.sourceforge.net/

1.5.1 only supports OpenGL 3.1 whilst 1.5.6 supports OpenGL 4.1. It would be nice to have an unstable ebuild for 1.5.6 available.

X11, interested in taking over the maintainership? GL sounds like your domain.

BTW please teach upstream how to use a standard date formatting.
