dasher 3.0.2 is available, currently only 3.0.0 is in portage Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Created attachment 20888 [details] dasher-3.0.2.ebuild Attached is a dasher-3.0.2.ebuild that works for me. I'm really not sure about the DEPENDs though so I don't feel comfortable committing to portage myself. Starts up and seems to work fine though. Hopefully, it will be a good starting point for someone.
obz, sending to you since alastair's a little busy these days
Well, 3.2.0 is out and bug 33869 was filed...
*** Bug 33869 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Created attachment 21009 [details] dasher-3.2.0.ebuild Attaching a 3.2.0 ebuild (its just a version bump based on the previous one) I've installed it sucessfully with all USE flags for this one and the previous one... :)
Whats the status on this? Is my ebuild working correctly? Could someone commit this to CVS please? (I'm a CVS n00b)
The status on it is: I'm still writing the ebuild and checking it. You missed a lot of deps (eg pkgconfig), and some keywords (enabling speech and a11y (accessibility)). I'm rewriting and will commit to CVS when it's finished (shouldnt be more than a day or two). Rather than go through the ebuild completely here, you should check your against mine when it's in portage, to see the differences. Like I say, please be patient, shouldnt be too long now.
Waiting for confirmation/opposition to adding a global 'accessibility' use flag. If so, we can use that for dasher, otherwise we'll go local.
Sorry for being impatient, just wondering if there is any updates to this ebuild? Want to see how I shoulda did it :P
and now 3.2.1 is out
i've added the global use flag, now i just need to check the ebuild again and i'll get it in.
Added dasher-3.2.1. Thanks for your patience.
