Does it work on your system with dev-lang/perl-5.8.8-r8 ?
yes, it does. i also had to switch on 'joystick' USE in libsdl, since i had error: "[SDL Init] /usr/bin/perl: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/x86_64-linux/auto/SDL_perl/SDL_perl.so: undefined symbol: SDL_NumJoysticks" do you think it's worth to try with newest perl and joystick USE flag, or it's rather not related?
hi, i do not know what exactly fixed it, but yesterday i've upgraded the whole system and now frozen-bubble works with perl-5.12
