I've upgraded to kde 4.4.4 as soon as it stabilized but recently I'm getting an issue with the panel. It constantly becomes unresponsive for a long period of time (I haven't measured but I suppose it to be about 15-20 mins). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Log in to KDE 2.Try to use panel (it's available) 3.Do some tasks 4.Try to use panel (it's unresponsive) Actual Results: Panel is unresponsive Expected Results: Panel is responsive all the time

Ugh.. no idea. Have you tried 4.4.5 yet?
No. I used to stick to stable version. Now latency decreased. I guess it depends on my Internet connection. When my ISP had problems my panel became almost unusable now the connection is better but still there are short times of unavailability. One more thing. All my actions on panel are queuied and executed after panel is available. Still no ideas?
hmm... try finding out with netstat and lsof which process is opening network connections... that should give us some hint what is going on...
No reply for several months, old kde version.
