Assuming that "kde" is masked in /usr/portage/profiles/arch/alpha/use.mask just because it's "not tested" on alpha, I have tried to build many KDE-related ebuilds (by adding "-kde" to /etc/portage/profile/use.mask) and succeeded in building, and I'd like to ask you to add them "~alpha" keyword and unmask kde. Later I'll attach the list of KDE ebuilds built and installed on one of my alphas. I think they corresopnd to almost all of the ebuilds which are installed w/ kde-base/kde-meta-4.4.5. The ebuilds which were not built are: (kde-base/kde-meta-4.4.5) kde-base/kdebindings-csharp-4.4.5 kde-base/kdebindings-meta-4.4.5 kde-base/krossjava-4.4.5 kdebindings-csharp did NOT build because dev-lang/mono-2.6.7 could not be built on alpha. The dependent ebuilds which were also built will be reported in separate bugs.

Sorry, we currently lack the archtesting manpower to ensure speedy handling of such a large number of new packages.
