Changing CFLAGS to include the "-mno-tls-direct-seg-refs" option and a subsequent system rebuild is only required on 32 bit hypervisors (dom0 kernels).  On 64 bit dom0 systems it is not needed.

If that's for the Gentoo wiki, as your link suggests, then we don't care. We are not responsible for gentoo-wiki.com. It is not supported, run by, nor endorsed by Gentoo developers.

Since it is a wiki, feel free to make your suggested changes to it.

Very well. Next time, please mention this in your bug report, and be sure to include the link to the guide in the URL field, so that the maintainers know what you're referring to.
