This ebuild is for jack-audio-connection-kit (hereafter jack) version 0.80.0. It has been modifed to include the building of jackstart. Several modifications were made, most important being the addition of --enable-stripped-jackd in the configure flags. Without this nothing works. The use flag jack-caps must be set for jackstart to be built. This ebuild is labeled -r2 because bug 27063 indicates -r1 was built. However, it has been over a month since -r1 was supposed to be committed to portage and it still hasn't shown up - the cvs tree doesn't list it either. To avoid problems I called this -r2.

Jack 0.94.0 is now out. I have tested this by bumping the version number and it is working OK for me. No suggestion either from the CHANGELOG that any other tweaks are required to the build file I haven't attached the modified ebuild since it's such a trivial change. Grateful if someone could make this change to the main tree
0.94 is has been in portage for a couple days.
