Description Mikael 2010-08-26 15:10:33 UTC
OpenRC regression.
OpenRC 0.6.2 doesn't shut down wpa_supplicant, but 0.6.1-r1 does.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. /etc/init.d/net.wlan0 start
2. wait
3. /etc/init.d/net.wlan0 stop
4. wait
5. ps ax | grep wpa_supplicant
Actual Results:
Still running

Expected Results:
Stopped

Downgrading to OpenRC 0.6.1-r1 fixes the problem.

check out the patch in Bug 266395 ... if you revert that, does it fix things for you guys ?

I have reverted this patch in git, and I will do a new release shortly with this fix.
