I'm getting the following message, starting Gimp:

** Message: Module '/usr/lib/gegl-0.0/ff_save.so' load error: /usr/lib/gegl-0.0/ff_save.so: undefined symbol: sws_scale


FFMPEG is v.0.5_p22846 here


After updating to media-libs/gegl-0.1.2 the message is gone.

Yep ffmpeg is completely fubared in gegl-0.0.22.
0.1.6 is stable candidate and operates well (closing as fixed per that).
