Description Pascal Labit 2003-11-13 19:01:41 UTC
Using konqueror 3.1.4. Installed mplayer 1.0pre2 and mplayerplug-in 1.0pre2.
Every time I try to open a page containing a movie file, mplayerplug-in loads
correctly, prints some message (the URL it tries to play), begins to play,
then freezes. Konqueror is still functionnal, but when I quit the page it pops
a Kcrash window saying taht nspluginviewer has died.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to any page containing media video.
2.Try to play any movie trailer or any video.
3.mplayer starts then freezes.
Actual Results:
Mplayer freezes. But browser still functionnal (tried with konqueror 3.1.4 and
Mozilla 1.4).

Problem solved for me.
After compiling Kernel 2.6.0-test10 with OSS-support in it, mplayerplug-in stopped crashing on me.
